What is the Fall Career Fair?
The Fall Career Fair is an annual event attended by students from all majors. The fair provides an excellent opportunity to connect with students to discuss or interview for current and/or future career-related employment and co-op/internship opportunities. Last year 120 employers and 1204 students took part in this event.

NOTE: This event is only for bona fide employers of college interns and grads. Anyone wanting to participate for the sole purpose of promoting anything but jobs may not attend.

How do I register for the Fall Career Fair?

The best way to register for the Fall Career Fair is through the Career Connect on-line system.

1. Log on to www.career.und.edu
2. Scroll down
3. Click 'on employers' under the Career Connect logo (lower left) indicate 'yes' at the security screen.
4. If you have not registered in the system yet, click where it states "new employer partner's click here to register", if you have registered, enter your user name and password to log in.
5. Once in the system:
6. Run your mouse over "Career Events" in the green bar across the top of the page
7. Click on the "Career Events List"
8. Click on the “search” button
9. The title of the event should come up
10. Clicking on the title of the event will give you information about it,
11. Clicking on the word 'register' (on the right) will take you to the registration form.
12. Some information will be automatically filled in. You will need to complete the rest of the registration information.

Registration deadline is Wednesday, September 23, 2009.
If registering after the September 23, deadline; registration fee will be $250.

What is the registration fee?
Note: The Hyslop is not equipped with wireless service
$200 registration fee includes:
- 6 foot table
- registration for up to two representatives ($10 each for more than 2 reps)
- tablecloth, if needed - free parking in the ramp only (or)
- free shuttle service to/from the Hilton Garden/Ramada/Clarion Inns
- morning snacks/refreshments
- lunch/refreshments

or

$225 registration fee includes:
- 6 foot table

- electricity
- tablecloth, if needed - free parking in the ramp only (or)

What is the cancellation/refund policy?


No exceptions

Fall Career Fair: Cancellation notification is appreciated so we may inform students. Refund of the registration fee (minus $50 administrative fee will be given for cancellations received within 10 business days of the date of the fair, by 4pm (CDT). (in this case, September 23^rd).


There is no refund of the registration fee for cancellations after September 23^rd, at 4pm.

Who is invited to the Fall Career Fair?
UND undergraduate and graduate students in all majors, as well as, UND alumni are invited and encouraged to attend the Fall Career Fair. We also extend an invitation to the student body of colleges/universities in the tri-state area.

The Fall Career Fair is not open to the general public.

Where is the Fall Career Fair held?
The Fall Career Fair will be held in the Multi-purpose Gym at the Hyslop Sports Center on UND’s Campus.

Refer to the map in the itinerary brochure emailed to the registered contact person.

Where can I unload my vehicle and park for the Fall Career Fair?

LOADING/UNLOADING

Enter and exit on the east side of the Hyslop Sports Center, by using the service road that parallels Columbia Road (near the overpass).

Pease do not park on the west side of the Hyslop Sports Center, you will be ticketed.

Changes to Parking in the ramp for Career Fair participants


Drop off your display/items first and then proceed to the parking ramp, there will be personnel on hand in the ramp to instruct you where to park. Please inform them that you are a Career Fair Participant. DO NOT push any buttons to get a parking ticket/receipt, they will give you a coupon to park free.


Career Services and the Parking Office have made arrangements for employers attending the fair to use the parking ramp free of charge. Please follow the steps below for parking the day of the fair.


If you have display/items to drop off at the Hyslop Sports Center, this may be done on the east side of the building as in the past. Facility personnel will be at this door to assist you with your display/items.


Upon leaving the fair/ramp, give the attendant the coupon that you received earlier that morning, this will pay for your parking for the day. If you do not have this coupon, you will be charged the normal fee to park.


When departing the ramp follow the instructions of the parking personnel. Career Fair participants will be leaving out of exits 4 and 5. Hand the attendant your coupon and drive out.


The parking office would like to assure you that they have worked out a traffic flow plan so that traffic is not backed up and your wait to leave the ramp is as short as possible.

To reserve a room for interviews the day after the fair, contact Jamie Rerick, Recruiting Coordinator at 701-777-4103 or e-mail jamiererick@mail.und.nodakedu. Rooms go quickly for the day after the fair so please call Jamie as soon as possible to reserve yours.
