SCHEDULING PROCEDURES: On-campus recruiting at UND is a 4 step process
  • Step 1: Interview opportunities are posted on-line and students apply for an interview
  • Step 2: Resumes of all applicants are automatically emailed to the employer. Open schedule applicants' resumes are sent as they apply and pre-select schedule applicants' resumes will be emailed in a bundle after the "Apply End Date"
  • Step 3: Companies who choose the "pre-select" schedule can use Career Connect to "accept" those applicants they wish to interview or work with the Recruitment Coordinator on this process. Once the applicant has been "accepted", they can select an interview slot
  • Step 4: Interviews take place
Interview Packets
Employers will receive an interview schedule, an evaluation form and miscellaneous information regarding their on-campus interviews upon arrival at Career Services, UND
Company Literature
Please send literature at least two weeks in advance in order for students to have as much knowledge about your company as possible prior to the interview. If a company application is required, please send that in advance also. Career Services houses recruitment videos and/or company information files. Also, we ask while you are on campus to please review your company literature on file to check for accuracy and completeness
Special Arrangements
Luncheons and/or meetings with faculty, informational sessions for interviewees, etc. can be arranged through the Recruitment Coordinator

Our student newspaper is the Dakota Student (701) 777-2677. Career Services also posts flyers around the campus
Parking

• You can get a Temporary Parking Permit from the Parking Office (located at the Memorial Student Union, in the lower level). The charge is $2/day or $5/week. These permits do not allow parking in the Visitor Pay Lot or the Ramp but you can park at any other parking lots that specify your permit letter (the parking office will assign you A, G or S).
• The Parking Ramp is located at the corner of 2nd Ave. N. and Columbia Road. The daily pay rate to park in the Ramp is $1.50 for the first hour and $1.00 for each additional hour, with a full day maximum charge of $7.00. Customers can pay for parking services with credit cards (Master Card, VISA, and Discover Card only) on Lanes 3, 5 and at the Pay Station in the SW Tower on Level 1. When the Pay Booth at the Ramp is staffed, the attendant can accept cash payment as well. When the Pay Booth is not staffed, cash transactions can be made at the Pay Booth in the SW Tower on Level 1. Validated parking tickets from the Pay Station must be presented to exit machines on Lanes 3 or 5 as the customer drives out of the Ramp within 15 minutes or the clock begins counting again for additional pay parking charges.
• Please Note: the charge rate for a lost pay parking ticket is the full daily rate of $7.00. Additional parking options for persons with a valid UND parking permit are posted by the entrances to the Ramp.

Accommodations
All visitors are asked to make their own hotel reservations. There are many hotels close to campus; a listing will be included in your confirmation mailing or you can access this list at the Grand Forks Convention and Visitors Bureau website at: www.grandforkscvb.org
