Students

We provide a complete career related service free
to UND students!
To start your UND journey and connect your university experiences
to your career consider these services:
What do I want to major in? Please come
to our office and review our Careers Booklet. You may view
all the undergraduate majors offered and see possible career
paths. Additionally, see student organizations that offer
professional support. View a direct link to the academic
requirements web site. Perhaps you need further guidance
from our Career Walk-in Center.
Need an organized path to your career? We
provide a Career
Development Timeline. This timeline recommends activities
you can do throughout your undergraduate years and gives
you a logical sequence of steps you can take toward meeting
your career goals when you graduate.
Events - we have lots of them! Nearly
every month we offer some Career related event targeted
specifically for students. In the fall term, we start with
a Networking and Practice Interview day, then watch for
our Fall Career Fair
the second Thursday in October. In November we host an Etiquette
luncheon. The Spring term has three Career Fairs - Summer
Fun Job Fair, Spring Career Fair and the North Dakota Education
Fair. Throughout the academic year we have continuous sessions
to help you develop your resume and cover letter writing
skills, interviewing skills, job searching, and career fair
success skills. These are open - come as you are - sessions.
During the months of late September through November, and
February to May, we host many companies for on-campus
interviews and employer information sessions. We welcome
appointments, just call 777-3904.
Cooperative Education or Internships!
We have these too. We have well established links to many
companies where you can test your skills as a pre-professional
and get credit and a salary. The best way to start, is to
view our video and
then attend our Cooperative
Education sessions offered three times a week every
week.
Automation! We have the newest and the
latest to assist you in your career activities. We call
our system "Career
Connect" and that's what it does for you. Like
with all systems, the better you know how to use it the
better it works for you - to help you, we offer Question
and Answer sessions several times a week.
